This is the Swedish Fish. Small, red, weirdly realistic for a candy. It hasn’t changed in decades. So when it came to telling the story of the Swedish Fish in a campaign, we presented the fish just as they are.

No slogans, no messaging. Just perfect, iconic, bland fish, in oddly familiar contexts, or commemorating special days in geek culture, or doing nothing at all. All allowing the audience to interpret and ponder the story for themselves. The simple, mysterious print ads and TV spots invited curiosity and lots of sharing. The results were pretty impressive. This short campaign case study tells that story.
